About this notice
This notice covers the Almajour design preview, updated 3 October 2026. Almajour is a working brand for a proposed destination club, not a confirmed operating company. This notice is not a claim that the future club is ready to operate.
What this preview collects
The enquiry, waitlist, member sign-in and payment forms are inactive demonstrations. They do not send or store what you type. Do not enter sensitive information, payment details or account passwords. The preview-access form checks only the shared preview password. It is not a member account.
Technical data and access
Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. When you visit, it receives technical connection information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, requested address, browser information and request time to deliver content and maintain security. The preview password gate is currently switched off. No preview-access cookie is currently set. If private access is re-enabled, signing in will set a necessary access cookie. The site does not include advertising pixels or analytics scripts. See our Cookie Notice for details.
If you contact Almajour
Emailing the contact address gives the mailbox provider and Almajour access to your email address, message and any information you choose to send. This information is used to respond to your request. Avoid sending financial, health or identity documents. Access should be limited to people handling the request and the service providers needed to deliver and secure it. No waitlist-marketing use is authorised by an enquiry alone.
Before the waitlist becomes active
A live waitlist is not operating. Before it is enabled, this notice and the form must identify the responsible operator, the information collected, the purpose, the service providers, any international processing, retention and the contact for privacy questions. The intended minimum is an email address and a record of permission to send Almajour updates. Optional profile information must be explained separately. Any marketing subscription must be a separate, clear opt-in, not bundled with accepting site terms. People must be able to unsubscribe. No membership, booking or investment commitment follows from joining a future waitlist.
Retention, security and service providers
When the password gate is enabled, its access cookie expires after 12 hours. The gate is currently switched off. A fixed retention period for host logs and email messages has not been confirmed. Do not assume they disappear when the cookie expires. Before real waitlist collection begins, retention periods and access controls must be documented. Hosting and email service providers may process information outside your province or country. No system is completely secure; use only the information needed for an enquiry.
Your choices and rights
Contact bonjour@almajour.com to ask what information is held about you, request access or correction, withdraw consent, request deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restriction of use, objection, or a portable copy. These rights are not unlimited, and information may need to be retained for legal or security reasons. We may need reasonable proof that a request concerns your information. Withdrawing consent does not undo earlier lawful processing. Canadian privacy questions can also be raised with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; other applicable privacy regulators may be available to you.
Changes and launch review
The preview is being developed. Revisit this notice for changes. Before collecting real waitlist data or sending promotional emails, the operator must complete a privacy and consent review under applicable law, including Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and anti-spam rules. This page alone does not establish compliance.
