Beyond the beautiful photograph

What to look for when a stay needs to work for the whole group.

Almajour editorial · An original perspective, not a member testimonial

Look beyond the lead image

A beautiful view is a good beginning, not a complete decision. The rooms, shared spaces, access and practical arrangements decide whether the place works for the people coming with you.

Ask the useful questions

Where does everyone sleep? How do you get there? What is actually included? Are the stairs manageable? Is a large gathering allowed? The answers matter more than the adjective attached to the property.

Be clear about the promise

That is why this site labels its pictures as atmosphere studies. A future Almajour property page should provide verified information, rather than ask a photograph to stand in for the facts.
